Background Information

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery requires 4 to 6 additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training. As Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Drs. Ragona, Trusheim and Badwal manage a wide variety of problems relating to the Mouth, Teeth and Facial Regions. Drs. Ragona, Trusheim and Badwal practice a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with expertise ranging from Corrective Jaw Surgery to Wisdom Tooth Removal. They can also diagnose and treat Facial Pain, Facial Injuries and TMJ disorders, and Oral Pathology. They perform a full range of Dental Implant procedures.

Drs. Ragona, Trusheim and Badwal's staff is trained in assisting with IV Sedation within our state of the art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery. The staff and office is equiped to handle any medical emergencies which may arise.

Doctors

Drs. Ragona, Trusheim and Badwal are board certified by the American Board of Oral/Maxillofacial Surgery. They maintain full attending privileges at Danbury Hospital in the Department of Surgery, utilizing the hospital’s Duracell Ambulatory Center, covering the emergency room for traumatic injuries and admitting patients for major maxillofacial procedures.

Surgical Staff

The surgical staff at Associated Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, P.C. are experienced, oral and maxillofacial surgical assistants, who assist in administration of IV Sedation and surgery. We also have a trained administrative staff to facillate the processing of your insurance benefits. The staff maintains CPR certification.

We maintain three conviently located offices in western Connecticut. Our offices in Danbury, Ridgefield and Southbury are fully equiped, modern offices able to provide full scope of diagnostic/surgical services.
