Rodger S. S. Badwal, D.M.D., M.D.

Dr. Badwal did his undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto. He received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Connecticut. Subsequently, he spent one year in a rotating hospital internship at the Medical Center of Vermont. He completed a 6-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and gained his degree in Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1997.

Dr. Badwal is an assistant clinical professor at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, Department of OMFS. He actively involved with teaching oral surgery in the Danbury Hospital General Practice Residency; as well as serving on the trauma committee of the Department of Surgery. He has attending privileges at both UCONN Health Center and Danbury Hospital.

Dr. Badwal is Board Certified by the ABOMS, and is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and is a member of the Connecticut Society of Oral/Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Badwal has contribute chapters in Oral/Maxillofacial textbooks, as well as published in the medical literature.
